Tucked away in bustling shopping plaza in Santa Ana is a quiet little gem nestled between Von's and LA Fitness. Upon entering, you are swept away to Brazil. Well, okay, I've never been to Brazil, but if I were to imagine Brazil, this would be THE place. With a super friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, Silva's is not just an eatery, but an experience. According to their website, they are an "international bistro serving homestyle food, Churrascuro and modern favorites influenced by the culturally rich flavors, styles and influences of Brazilian cooking."
TASTY. FRESH. SATISFYING.
The food here is AMAZING. Silva's serves fresh organic vegetables with traditional Brazilian appetizers as a nice complement to their churrascaria (a barbecue style of cooking). I decided on their Caprese and Broccolini & Grape Salad with their Oven Roasted Salmon. My mouth was filled with exotic flavors that I wish I could just savor this moment forever. My husband opted for their top sirloin which he graciously allowed me to have a bite. Delish. My kids stayed fairly on the safe side with their macaroni and cheese dishes with some vegetables (that I had to sneak onto their plates). My children, who are usually picky, approved.
Silva's is a hidden gem. If you need to get away from your busy life, slow down, and enjoy a meal, then Silva's is the perfect escape. They even have a special for Mother's Day!
And Moms, this desert is for you. From Silva's. Sharing is optional.
