Community Panel featuring representatives from law enforcement, the press, and those who have led efforts to expose, end, and aid in the escape of trafficking

About the Event: The movie “Trafficked” depicts the fictional plights of three young girls, each with their own tragic stories of how they became entrapped within the sex trafficking industry. While the three stories are fictional, they are inspired from real accounts of survivors of human trafficking. The film illustrates just how insidious the various ways entrapment can take place, and the disparaging depths of abuse faced by those in such a desperate situation. The saga traces how girls from three continents, with three different backgrounds, find commonality in their quest to escape the sinister situation into which they have been ensnared.

After the screening, the audience is invited to stay for the community panel discussion, where members will discuss the topic of trafficking, and offer their own unique perspective and experience. As the topic of human trafficking continues to be exposed, especially in respect to the connection posed by illegal immigration and individuals crossing the border without documentation, the necessity for action to prevent such tragedies as those exposed in this film has never been more apparent.  In light of this fact, the importance of being informed on an issue with such wide-sweeping impacts remains of the utmost importance for there to be an engaged and impactful citizenry.

To that end, AIB2B cordially extends this valuable opportunity to attend this screening. To obtain tickets, please visit:
