Hispanic Heritage Month is a time for us to celebrate and honor the contributions and cultures of people of Hispanic and Latin heritage. The start date is September 15 and ends October 15. September 15 is significant because it coincides with the anniversary of independence for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. While Mexico's Independence Day is September 16 and Chile's is September 18.
Celebrate this month by attending a cultural festival and supporting a local Hispanic-Owned small business.
